I can understand which presentation u r talking about & what was the reaction of all the audience at the end of the day!!! Well I would go with Nik's statement that Presentation is a team effort. It reflects on the team co-ordination, team dynamism & how much efforts put in by each of the members. A presentation cannot be successful with the collective effort of the team members, until & unless it's a presentation by a single person. Some points I would like to mention which according to me are very vital for making a good presentation:
1. A presentation should neither be too lengthy nor too small. Number of slides should be just adequate to communicate your idea.
2. slides should not be a clutter of words & pictures. It is true that we remember what we visualize but too much of visualization leaves the audience with nothing but confusion.
3.Voice modulation is very vital for a presenter. He /She should know where to be loud & where to be soft. The person can crack relevant jokes in-between the presentation to make it interesting but he/she should not make the presentation a joke.

I think giving presentation is to be able to commuincate so well so that the other person listens with a keen interest and understands what is being said .......which is very important .........bt to give a comment on ur thought i would say .......presentation by one person will be little hectic for that person as if for some time if that person gets the chance to have a break in between then he/she would be able to communicate well....and the content wise .......the person presentin shud be thru with. ,.....so 2-3 persons can give presentation well ......by maintaining a flow ...which has to be discussed before hand...who will lead nd who will carry on next .....//

Presentations are not bout team effort but its all bout the communication process from the presentor to the audience. The ultimate goal should be making the audience ,understood regarding ur topic...Look ...

When u r a presentor so...ur message will be communicated to the audience after u encode the message and audience will decode it and receive the message...but here the point is change..of the presentor. So when there is a change then the process will be same but thing is how r u going to decode the message..and still receive it in the same way..

Well i will stick to my word that when it comes to corporate presentations its a pure team effort and sometimes it becomes difficult for one person to take the brunch of a whole presentation coz its long and one has a threshold limit. well also the fact that .... its not good make judgments at the college level presentations because the speakers are rarely prepared
